Our goal is to provide a french bulldog of good quality.We breed for temperment and breed standard.We are a family that has been smitten with the "frenchie fever."
French bulldogs are a great companion dog.They adapt to all types of living wether you live on a farm,in a house,or even in an apartment these dogs are great! Frenchies have great personalities,they are like little clowns always trying to get you to smile.
We have learned a lot from this breed.They are one of the most loving and loyal dogs out there.They want to be with their people all of the time.If you are not home or do not have time for a dog these are not for you.
We breed our dogs as companions first and foremost.If you are looking for a best friend then we can help you out.I suggest that you do not get a puppy under 8 weeks old,this is when they really start to show their personalities and it will be easier to match a pup with what you are looking for.
Please,please,please,if you are thinking about getting a frenchie do your homework. As with all dog breeds they can have health problems. Be aware of what your are getting.
You also need to be aware of some breeders trying to pass off cross breeded dogs as full blooded frenchies.A lot of people have been breeding french bulldogs with pugs or boston terrriers and these dogs can look a lot like full frenchies. These are usually refered to as Frugs ,Frenchtons,or Freedom bulldogs,to name a few.
This is a good example of what a frenchie should look like.They come in a variety of colors. Be aware that as per the breed standard of AKC,colors such as blue,chocolate,liver,and black and tan(marking similar to a rottweiler) are not accepted by AKC.We are not saying that these colors are not beautiful( they are and we love them just the same),we are just saying that this means that you would not be able to show these dogs if they are registered AKC,in an AKC event.
